Covid-19 vaccination after recent delivery

I recently had a normal delivery of my son a month ago. Should I now get vaccinated against Covid-19 or wait for some time?

    Yes, you should get vaccinated.

As of 22 May 2021, the GOI informed that the vaccines are safe for lactating women, and there should be no disruption in breastfeeding because of the vaccine. Initially, India had excluded pregnant and lactating women from the coronavirus vaccination as vaccine trials have not taken place to ensure the safety of such women after vaccination. But the government has allowed only lactating women to get vaccinated. The decision about the vaccination of pregnant women is still awaited.
